1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Word Combiner at wordcombiner.io (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Condition ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, players, account holders, educators, and customers. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Our service

Word Combiner provides Wordle-style word puzzle games and related tools, including:

• Daily five-letter Wordle puzzles shared by all players
• Practice mode, hard mode, statistics, and shareable emoji results
• Custom Wordle creation, templates, and themes (on applicable plans)
• Classroom and team features through Classroom Pro

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We strive to keep daily Wordle available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

3. Accounts & eligibility

Free Wordle play does not require an account. Paid features (Creator, Classroom Pro) may require you to create an account with accurate information.

You must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to create an account
• Keep your login credentials confidential
• Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access to your account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Wordle gameplay rules

When playing Wordle on Word Combiner, you agree to:

• Use only valid dictionary words where the game requires them
• Not attempt to cheat, scrape answers, reverse-engineer puzzles, or disrupt fair play
• Not use automated bots or scripts to play on your behalf without permission
• Respect the daily puzzle experience — do not publicly post today's answer before the reset

Gameplay statistics stored in your browser are provided for personal use. We are not responsible for loss of local data if you clear browser storage or switch devices.

5. User-created Wordles

If you create custom Wordle puzzles on Word Combiner, you represent that:

• You have the right to use any words, branding, or content you submit
• Your puzzles do not contain illegal, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit material
• Your puzzles do not infringe third-party intellectual property or privacy rights

You retain ownership of content you submit, but grant Word Combiner a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your puzzles as needed to operate the Service.

We may remove user-created content that violates these Terms or applicable law without prior notice.

6. Paid plans & billing

Subscriptions

Wordle Creator and Classroom Pro are paid subscription plans billed monthly or yearly as displayed on our Pricing page. Prices may change with reasonable notice.

Payments & refunds

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable law and our refund policy stated at checkout.

Cancellation

You may cancel a paid plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Free Wordle play remains available after cancellation.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data
• Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service without written permission
• Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our consent

8. Intellectual property

The Word Combiner name, logo, website design, software, and original content are owned by Word Combiner or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as expressly permitted (e.g. sharing your personal Wordle emoji grid).

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Word Combiner does not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. Word puzzle content is provided for entertainment and educational purposes.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WORD COMBINER AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or USD $50 if you use only the free tier.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using Word Combiner at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required for legal or security reasons.

Sections that by nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Word Combiner operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
